I won’t lie - Island Affair first caught my attention because the cover is so pretty! It is about Sara, a social media influencer who is about to embark on a vacation in Key West with her family. Complicated relationships make her want to appear “perfect” to said family - and when her boyfriend doesn’t show up to vacation with them, she recruits Luis to play the role. Luis is a Key West native, a firefighter/paramedic. The writing brought me in because it gives personal history to each character, so it feels like you truly get to know them. I also love getting a vacation feel from a book - which is exactly what Island Affair does. Combined with the romance factor and you’re in for a fun loving, happy read!
