Sara is a social media influencer and her unreliable boyfriend doesn't show up for her family vacation in the Florida Keys. Sara recruits Luis, a local firefighter paramedic to play the part of fiancé.
This was a really fun, sweet book. I read this at the start of the pandemic I'm really in the mood for lighter rom-coms right now and this one was perfect for my mood reading. The characters were unique and their personal and family backgrounds were different from what I've seen in other stories. They had great character development and their own struggles. I haven't seen characters with eating disorders much in books and loved the depiction, self awareness, and growth that came out of this struggle. I loved the setting in the Florida Keys and exploring some of the culture Luis helped expose to Sara.
