I love reading about a man with strong ties to his family. How refreshing! And his having to deal with a brother who is a bit of a jerk makes the whole thing more believable, instead a picture perfect family. Those don't exist in real life! Every family has conflicts, jealousies, immaturity, parents that are less than what we would have them be....
