I need this sunny romance in my life
I am usually not a huge romance reader but I am here for the fake dating trope! I am eager to see more incorporation of the author's culture and heritage into the story - I think I'm going to love the family dynamics.
One thing that bugs me is the use of italics to denote a Spanish word or phrase. These characters are bilingual, so there wouldn't be emphasis in their regular conversations. The author does also use italics to emphasize things a lot, so it is sometimes just a bit confusing with all the italics.
I love the cover! It's so sunny and cheerful - exactly the kind of thing I need to lead me into spring.
