I liked the sampling of the book and am looking forward to reading it in its entirety.
I found the excerpt that I read to be interesting. It seems as if the book is humorous with some sadness, tragedy, love and unexpected twists.
Although this "theme" has been done and redone, it's always interesting to find a different take on things. Sara seems to be very independent, outgoing, and yet desperate and insecure when it comes to her family. Luis sounds like the tall, dark, handsome firefighter with a traumatic past. I see good things coming out of this....
