I really, REALLY tried with this book. Overall, this was a DNF (did not finish) for me. I read the first part which I believe was around page 21. Next, I skimmed pages 21 through 50 and proceeded to stop at page 60.

I genuinely loved the first 20 pages and was interested in the story of the mother and daughters. Then we jump to a different perspective that seemed to far from the first part. I just did not care about these new set of characters that became a flashback to the mom when she was younger.

Once I started again on the perspective of the daughters, I thought that I would care. I soon realized that I had lost interest and it was a story that I no longer cared to read through. This is definitely a story for some, sadly, not for me.

Also, the writing style itself is grammatically perfect.
