After her dancing career ended, Julia feels lost. She has a career she doesn't enjoy, roommates who have very loud sex all the time, while she hasn't had sex in three years (a fact her roommate reminds her of).
While the excerpt didn't go into much more detail than that, I feel like Julia's journey will be an interesting one to read. After reading this book, I feel like Julia's journey took her in places many would never go. Julia attends a warehouse party, meets a woman and so begins her lesbian life. And what follows is the very graphic details of Julia's sexual awakening. Some scenes were a bit uncomfortable to read.
What I did enjoy about this book was the letters from Eric, the 96-year old Bomber Command Veteran. They became pen pals of sorts with Eric relating his time in the war with current events.
