I’m surprised with how much I liked this book. I specifically picked this sample because it is so different from what I normally read. I normally stick to thrillers, occasionally mixing in fantasy or young adult. This book was described as a modern Bridget Jones. It sounded interesting so I thought I’d give it a go. I ended up really liking the main character, who served as the narrator. I think the author did a great job of introducing all the characters and differentiating them from each other. You really care about each person. I also think that the narrator is extremely likable and relatable. It seems like a nice, easy read. However, I can see myself sitting and reading this book in one sitting. This is another book I can picture as a great vacation read. I liked this book much more than I thought I would. I would definitely be excited to read the rest!
