If I were to rate this book on its first hundred pages my review would be a lot different than it is right now.
The beginning of 'In at the Deep End' was comical and a fascinating insight into a woman's mind as she was coming to the terms that she was attracted to women and that she no longer wanted to be with men.
The book shows the main characters embracing her new world with open arms, getting out more and finally living her life while her friends and family question if this is really who she is and if she was just going through a faze.

As the book progresses she gets more adventurous with her sexual life which the writing and detailed explanations of these dalliances got a little too detailed and made me rather uncomfortable making the rest of the book a little difficult to read.
