This is the debut novel by author Kate Davies. It follows Julia a twenty something, who has a thankless job. Her roommates are having loud sex and she hasn't had any sex in quite some time. She starts exploring the lesbian dating scene and finds that she really likes it! Julia is funny and snarky and often makes bad decisions. Julia starts a relationship that ultimately becomes abusive. It is not a great peice of literary fiction, but if you are in the mood for a quick summer beach read that is more like a lesbian Fifty Shades of Grey than this is probably something you would enjoy. The book has it's funny moments and dirty sex descriptions in every chapter. Its everything you always wanted to know about lesbian sex, but were afraid to ask!
