The cover art is unexpected but very effective, especially because it takes a minute to understand the visual. I am not sure about the story itself, as it seems a little racy, but not in a good way. Julia is portrayed as a neurotic, anxious, lay about wannabe, who is so busy consoling herself as to what she does not have to live her life. I am not sure that In at the Deep End is the book for me.
