Not my style
The cover is simple and visually pleasing, however it would fit better with literary fiction. I found the imagery of the vertical eye to be quite clever for a book about women's sexuality, like a modem nod to Georgia O’Keefe.
I didn’t enjoy the sample whatsoever. This felt Iike a very overbearing attempt at being liberating and sex-positive, while swinging a little too far and wandering into sexual objectification and internalized misogyny without any self-awareness of the message being conveyed. I think this book may be enjoyable for people who feel a lot of shame around sex and would benefit a text that feels sex-positive to them while still being comfortable in the sense that it reinforces familiar stereotypes.
