Looks can be deceiving. The cover is eye catching (pun intended), but does not give away any clues to the novel's focus which is clearly not the eyes.
In the preview, it's obvious from the start that this book is somewhat singular in its focus and that focus is sex.
The book's writing style IS actually pretty humorous so that was a pleasant surprise. I would not say the preview is raunchy so much as it's just extremely matter of fact and tell it like it is so while this book is not something I would read with my parents in the room, I think it seems like it will have some depth.
