I almost immediately liked our protagonist. She's young, single, somewhat involuntarily celibate, and living in an awkward roommate situation with a couple who have a LOT of sex. While she's not crazy about her life situation, she's not wallowing in self pity and has a good sense of humor. I'm really eager to see how her life changes come about.
