While romance isn't normally my cup of tea, I would have kept reading this first look until the end of the book, In at the Deep End definitely had me hook line and sinker. I could easily relate to the main characters need for meaningful work, stuck in work that is definitely not her dream job, while her friends find meaning, and partners, she wanks alone, and unsatisfied!
