This is an interesting preview heavy on desire (or more the lack-of in the case of the put-upon narrator of this story,) and while this is relatively short, there does seem to be a Bridget Jones-vibe, or at least the kind of dry, British humor to this tale that will likely make you laugh audibly at least a few times while reading. This is a unique voice and will be very interesting to find the trails upon which this story will travel!
