Though the sample was short, I was able to get a good sense of the author's writing style and really enjoyed it. Julie, the protagonist, appears to be a typical young adult trying to find herself amongst a bad job and a less than ideal living situation. In a dating world that is dominated by dating apps and hookups, I'm interested to see how the author dives into Julie's awakening.
