This book follows a young boy who has been given powers that he is unsure how to use them.
My daugter, who is 10, said it felt like a horror/sci-fi book and she literally read it in one sitting. She loves unique novels that are special in their own way and she said the cover is what drew her into reading it without even knowing what the synopsis was. She said it made it that much better of an experience.
She has been trying to convince me to read it and I think i might as well delve into it....since it's a quick amazing read. I actually love the novels my kids give me to read, even though they're middle grade. It's almost nostalgic for me to quickly read one of these kinds of novels. I'll be giving it a read.
