Corruption, superheroes (well at least one), super villains, and a mystery. I am in. I was so excited to get to read the first look when I read the synopsis and now that I have read the first look, I want to read the book. The main character is relatable, from him missing his father to wishing he could do more to help his mother to wanting revenge for his fathers death. The mix of fantasy and contemporary setting really drew me in. I loved the world. The writing is great. This book looks so good!
