Love it
There are not enough words to explain how much I loved this book.
First, I devoured it in two days. It would have been one day, but you know . . .sleep. The cover is absolutely beautiful and beckons to the reader. From there the story starts off with a strong plotline and does not slow down. I loved Alice's struggle and how she deals with her ability to become invisible. The whole time I kept , "How far is she going to go? At what point is she going to refuse a request for help?" Also, the possibility of a romance also kept the story intriguing.
Most young adult stories nowadays have graphic language and explicit romance scenes. This one does not. Aside from the crimes committed the whole story is rather tame. This is a book I would totally feel comfortable sharing with my upper middle school students. The moral/ethical dilemmas can lead to interesting discussions.
