I'm not really sure what I was expecting from this book. The "Young Adult" genre is so broad and I wasn't sure if this would be more fantasy, romance or just a general fiction book with a little bit of everything thrown in. I think the latter is definitely what you get with this book, and I'm honestly not sure how I felt about it. On one hand I really enjoyed the characters, I think they were very well written and developed throughout the story. However, I think something in the plot was just missing for me. I went from being slightly bored to slightly intrigued to slightly bored again, over and over. I guess I just had a hard time staying focused and found myself only reading a couple chapters before closing the book and taking a break. Overall, I do think it was a pretty good read. I'm glad I got a copy for review and I do think some people will really enjoy this story!
