The book description sounded so interesting that I’ve been waiting to be able to read the excerpt. I knew if I liked the writing style that I’d request the book and of course I did. Alice is out to dinner with her parents and she knows that they have bad news. Turns out that they want her to transfer schools. She has finally gotten into a good place at her current school and doesn’t want to go but realizes her parents can’t afford her current school anymore.
