If I'm being honest, I didn't like it.

If I'm being honest, I didn't like it. It is not a matter of this book being outside of my genre of interest, in fact, I usually love these style of books. But, I could not get engaged in the story at all. It reads as though a disinterested narrator is talking about their day after being on the phone for the last three hours. It feels rushed and forced at the same time, as though it's a bother for the narrator to give us the backstory and the information we need to be able to understand this family. So for me, this is a book that I just could not get into and would not pursue further. I hope you find your target audience!
