A story centered on a family...interesting premise but not for me

I was initially interested in If We’re Being Honest, because the premise—shocking secret revealed at a funeral and plenty of family drama + processing grief—sounded great! Unfortunately, once I started reading, I realized it wasn’t the story for me. There were a lot of characters introduced at once, and the narrative hopped between them. Ultimately, I didn’t end up connecting with the story or characters in the way I thought I would.
