Amazing novel that we must try to read and enjoy.
This novel is well-written, unputdownable and absolutely page-turner. It is one of the best historical fiction I have read that even my tween daughter enjoyed this novel thoroughly. We both agreed that the book contains romance and many episodes of betrayals and disloyalty that the characters simply need to survive. When people are caught in dire situations, the survival of the fittest tend to kick in immediately. Ruta Sepetys has done it again. It is so phenomenal, heartfelt and inspirational; thus, my daughter and I truly LOVE this novel.
After reading, I wish her book can be assimilated to the academic world, so that the younger generations can be offered the opportunity to learn and understand other countries’ history.
This YA book is not limited to young readers only, and I truly love this novel as much as my tween daughter too.
