I am so bummed that I missed writing a review for this when I first read it, because it's been a book that has stuck with me for months. First of all, Ruta Sepetys is more amazing than I could put into words, and I will forever read every book she puts out. She is a genius when it comes to historical fiction that YA fans will actually pick up and enjoy reading. "I Must Betray You" was no exception. Admittedly, my knowledge of history is not what it should be, so I am always delighted when I finish a book and feel like I'm a little sharper for having read it. That's exactly how I felt when I put this book down. Not only was it interesting and well-written, of course, but I was also enlightened on a part of history that I should know more about, but just don't. It kept me turning page after page, wanting more and more. Highly recommend this to fans of historical fiction, for sure!
