This book touches on an an era and a place unfamiliar to me with thoughtful yet relatable prose. The author's inclusion of pictures and personal notes in the beginning previews the content of the book and serves to make the content of the book even more relatable. As a fan of Animal Farm, I am looking forward to reading this as I was reminded of Orwell's classic while reading the sample. In addition, the cover art is simple, yet impactful.
