I love Sepetys's writing. She has wonderful way of setting a scene and drawing the reader into the story. My first impression is that this story will another fascinating page turner that you just can put down. I love the setting of Romania in 1989 and enjoyed our snippet into the lives of the characters. I also appreciate the inclusion of additional formats, such as the "official recruitment report of "Oscar"" in the story, which add to the reading experience. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the story.
