Historical fiction is more often than not, written about the same topics again and again. This is one I have not heard before and am so excited to not only learn about but to experience, through those authors' talented writing. The cover is beautiful, I love the tattered flag and the bold empowering cursive, red of the word betrayed. The cover alone tells a story.
