I’ve read all of Sepetys’ work, and first: wow we are given a beautiful and moving cover once again. It hints at a more haunting story than her previous, and I have a feeling it won’t end happily (…they usually don’t). From this first glimpse I am already intrigued. I’ve spent a lot of time in Romania and yet I still had no idea of the events surrounding this novel, and as that Country holds a special place in my heart, I want to know the truth of It’s history and the horrible things that have been covered up. I can tell this will be a page turner and I can’t wait for it to break my heart.
