I have always been a fan of Ruta Sepetys, and her writing seems to get better and better with each book. The opening lines are chilling, and I'm already ridiculously attached to Unu and Luca, our sarcastic and sweet pair. I also love the formatting, from the grayed out pages of the prologue and the "ciornă" stamp before the first chapter.
