I Like Me Better by Robby Webber is a sweet contemporary romance between Chip and Zack. As punishment, Zack has to do community service at the Marine Institute, where he meets Chip. The two fall in love all while navigating life, relationships, peer pressure, social anxiety, and more.
I'd recommend this book to anyone looking for a lighthearted read with a cute romance. At the beginning of the novel, Zack is still figuring out who he is. I loved seeing his development and growth throughout the book.
Chip is an adorable character and has my whole heart. I appreciate how careful he is with Zack and their relationship because of who he is and what he's heard. He wants the best for both of them and doesn't want to rush into anything he feels like could potentially be unhealthy in the future.
However, I felt like the book was a little slow at some points and could have been a little faster-paced.
