I really like YA. Romance, not so much, so my first impression is a bit biased. Ryan is a huge idiot and not even brave enough to own up to his actions. Clearly he seems like a selfish player so I don't get how he became captain. Meyer and Beckett remind me a bit like Mercutio and Benvolio from Romeo and Juliet, but that'd make Zach Romeo and that is not true. I liked the writing, and I feel like I'd finish this fast, but it's not for me.
