I read and enjoyed the author’s previous book so I was excited to hear about this one. I enjoyed this excerpt, I already like the writing style, the characters and the storyline.
Zack is a rising senior. He’s just about to get the most respected spot on the soccer team when a senior graduates. That senior took Zack under his wing and Zack really respects him. But he does something stupid and wants someone else to take the fall for him so he doesn’t get in trouble. Zack decides to be the one to take responsibility for the prank and he gets community service over the summer.
