I lost my way with this book. The premise was interesting – three unlikely people who have all seemingly lost their way:

Freya who has lost her voice while recording her debut album.

Harun who is making plans to run away from everyone he has ever loved.

Nathaniel who has just arrived in New York City with a backpack, a desperate plan, and nothing left to lose.

However, I found it to be a bit boring and depressing. There was also something lacking in it and I struggled with trying to finish it. I was waiting for it to get started or to the plot, and it (to me) never did.

I do believe this is one of those “library” books to borrow before buying. It might be a once in a lifetime read for some or it could be a repeat read.
