This is such a delicate story. The book tells the story of three young people in New York that meet each other when they all, for different reasons, have lost their ways. Throughout the pages, you get to know a little bit more about Freya, Nathaniel, and Harun. While the main story takes place during 12 hours, the narrative is intercalated with stories from the past that help understand what led the characters to their current situations. I like the way the book is structured, you get to unfold little by little each part of the story. The author doesn’t deliver everything all at once. Three completely different characters, three completely different reasons to lose their ways, and yet their lives cross and they all try to find a way to help each other (even though at first no one realizes they actually need help). I’m glad I had the opportunity to read this before it hit the shelves.
