My first impression of this book was very positive. I enjoy books that revolve around female lead characters, especially those who face obstacles involving social interactions or really anything other than romance issues. This book does not appear to be about a female character chasing after a male character. I also enjoyed that this character appears to need to break away from an overbearing mother. I imagine the book would be very interesting to read as the young female lead character decides that she needs to take control of her life and career and not allow her mother to direct her every move and direction of her career. I am very interested in reading more of this book and following along with the characters.
