This is the first book that I have actually read by this author. I was drawn to her after seeing the movie "If I Stay." I loved the complexity and passion behind each of the characters and loved that this book was told in alternating, however collaborating viewpoints. The stories really seem unrelated at first, but really seem to tie in the more you get into the book. The author is really good at understanding and relaying the emotions that the characters felt when dealing with loss and letting go. I liked that the characters are extremely relatable, however extremely quirky in their own unique way. I will definitely be reading more from this author and recommending this book to others.
