How to Walk Away is a beautiful, heartwarming story about perseverance and forgiveness. I recently became a fan of Katherine Center after reading Things You Save in a Fire, and this book solidified it. Her writing is so good, and the book just flies by. I'm definitely not the biggest fan of romance, because I find them super cheesy, but not this one. I did dock a star from it because of the problematic storyline of the main character falling in love with her physical therapist, but other than that, the book is a lovely story. I believe it also helps teach compassion and acceptance to those who are wheelchair bound. It definitely made me take a look at how my actions can be better. I would definitely recommend this book, and any other by Katherine Center!
