What I loved about How to Walk Away by Katherine Center was the way it flowed from page to page from the tragedy to the struggles with healing physically and emotionally. The reader will fall completely in love with every character in Magaret's flawed, dysfunctional family. The emotional roller coaster Maggie rides is so real. The romance so sweet. And the stories within the story make you laugh and cry and roll your eyes at times. I especially appreciated that Margaret didn't become bitter through her trials, though she struggled in the effort not to. But in the end, her character helps us understand that your life is your life, not always the one you dreamed of or planned for or thought it would be. Katherine Center writes with clarity and passion and honesty. I would definitely recommend this book to friends and family looking for a good read.
