My first impression of the cover is that it is okay. It does seem to match the writing style, which is modern and feminine. The writing is fresh and funny, a bit like having brunch with your funny best friend.
Having read the first few pages, I am very curious about what happens next, particularly because I, too, am the survivor of a very bad (auto) accident. Like the main character, I also have a sense of humor about something that was pretty serious, so I do appreciate that. I like the writing style and the premise, and while I would certainly be interested in reading more, this isn't generally my favorite genre or style. I can relate the main character pretty easily, which does encourage me to want to read more from her.
