You have to understand that this kind of book is my bread and butter.

I love any kind of sappy and sweet romance that includes an enemy-to-lovers narrative. I chose this book immediately as a Book of the Month pick because I just had the feeling that I was going to like it. And I...just can't truly say that I did.

Ok, let me back track. The book is by no means bad. I finished. I was entertained. But at the end of the day, it was nothing I hadn't read before. And sometimes that doesn't bother me, the normal formula of rom coms or romance novels are often my favorite things. But for some reason, I did not connect with this book or the characters. The cocky, scotsman, Ian taking advantage of the emotional state of his newly paralyzed patient, Margaret, also just felt gross at times. I have A LOT of problems with ME BEFORE YOU, but I ultimately enjoyed that immensely more.
