This is one of those books that I thought I knew the ending about 50 pages in. In this case I was right about some parts of the ending but not the whole thing. I think this book has the perfect amount of romance while also having great character development. The author takes what is a very heavy topic and makes it light and full of possibility. I enjoyed the struggle and journey the main character and her family members have to go through during the book. I loved the relationships built throughout and the practicality of the ending. It isn't a typical "everything is perfect" fairytale ending. The ending is positive but it isn't a magical ending. I read this very fast and loved it. Do yourself a favor and try this one.
