I am completely amazed how how fantastic this book was!

On the surface How to Walk Away seems like a cute contemporary romance book but it really is so much more. I really enjoyed how the romance part was more like the sides while the main character’s growth was the entire instead of the other way around.

Topics of hardship, grief, moving on, personal growth and courage are wedged into this beautiful story. Katherine Center has such a way with words that just makes the pages fly by.

I also applaud the author for having characters that brake the mold.

Also, something I find so special about Katherine Center’s books is the “a-Ha!” moment I have realizing the meaning of the title. ✈️

As an added bonus there is a bridge story between How to Walk Away and Things You Save in a Fire! These don’t have to be read in a particular order but I read Things You Save in a Fire, How To Walk Away and then the bridge story and I enjoyed it that way!

How to Walk Away was a solid 4 ⭐️ read
