How to Walk Away begins on a high, literally. The main character and her boyfriend are up flying in his airplane. She is deathly scared of flying, but he makes her go up anyway in order to propose to her. Things go down from there, again literally!
Katherine Center is a new author to me for 2020. I loved this book. It was easy to read and I enjoyed all of the characters. I loved reading about how they all came to accept where they were in their life. Not everything went smoothly, which was expected. There was some predictability and some moments that were a little over-the-top, but so what. It was well written and I was drawn into the story. What more could I ask for in a book.
I am enthusiastically going to look into Katherine Center's back list. I recommend!
