This book is rated at 3 stars. Light hearted and the plot flows nicely for a romantic comedy book. A good relaxing beach read! FYI do not read the first part of the book on a plane. It was a feel good read, but I never felt completely attached or invested in any of the characters, but it was a good book for passing the time. I liked the reoccurring quote "when you don't know what to do for yourself do something for others." This was incredibly optimistic and positive mindset. I liked how Maggie had overcame her adversity and connections with her family that would be a 5 star rating. The love story brought the book down to a 3 star because I felt that it took away from the book and made it too cheesy. The scene where Maggie was sitting in the boat at her ex boyfriend's wedding was very cringe-worthy and awkward. It was a weird scene for Maggie and Ian to get back together and that is what prevented this book from getting a higher rating. Overall a feel good read
