Diane Chamberlain is such favorite author for me, that I knew I couldn't wait to dive into this one. I buddy read this book with several ladies as part of an online book club I participate in and for the most part we all really liked it. I have to admit that this wasn't a personal favorite of mine when compared to other novels by the same author. I like realistic books. This book took a turn I wasn't expecting, which was fine, but it lost me a little when she decided to do that. Without saying what it was, I still enjoyed the story and the characters overall. So I allowed myself to suspend belief and enjoyed it regardless. It was a wonderful book to discuss and we talked a lot about this one!
