My sincere thanks to Bookish First, St. Martin's Press and the author for sharing this early edition with me.

Margaret has a great new job after completing school and her high school love is getting ready to propose! In the most fearful manner imaginable to her! By taking her up in a plane. Chip is full of youthful confidence and determined to make this event something to remember. It was. In the most unfortunate of circumstances, Chip loses control of the place in a heavy crosswind on landing. He walks away without a scratch. Margaret has been badly burned and has sustained a significant spinal injury.
As her family, including her estranged sister Kitty, gather around her to bolster her spirits and a sullen, unfriendly Scottish physical therapist puts her through her paces, she becomes more aware of the seriousness and probable limited recovery options of her condition. Worse still, Chip's guilt keeps him away from the hospital and deeply disturbed.
Margaret has always achieved her goals.....will she be able to do the same when her world now looks nothing like it did prior to the accident? Or does something better await her?
This is a beautiful story about survival, strength, determination, humor, love and family and how all those pieces come together in tragedy to form something even more unimaginably wonderful.
