4 Stars | How To Walk Away
"You make it sound easy." "Dying is easy. It's not dying that's hard."
SYNOPSIS | Margaret has a bright future ahead of her as she has a boyfriend (Chip) who she adores & a dream job lined up. Chip is training to be a pilot and manages to pull some strings to take her out on a flight with the intention of proposing to her. The weather turns as they are airborne resulting in Chip being unable to land the plane. Margaret awakens in a hospital and she has to come to terms with the fact that her life as been inexplicably changed.
MY THOUGHTS | I have had this book on my TBR for months and for some reason never reached for it. I am kicking myself because now I want to read every book that Katherine Center has written. This reminded me a lot of the heartbreaking types of stories that Colleen Hoover writes and I am here for it. The story alone was wonderful but so was the paraplegic representation & day-to-day struggles.
