Wow. The small snippet of this book that I read had me engrossed throughout its entirety. For someone to just come out and write their first thriller in a way that captivates the reader so much that they can't stop reading it is quite the accomplishment. The immense details of this story helped me clearly picture every word. The hint of mystery, thriller, horror, and slight of romance had me wanting more. The characters are very well developed, even within the few pages I was provided.
The main characters were unique, but also pulled in classic traits. I love the idea of having a girl and a group of her friends who are extremely interested in horror films being a part of a real-life slasher. I'm sure as the book progresses, more twists and turns are to come. Danielle Valentine (Vega) is an amazing author and I am excited to look into more of her work.
